In July 2025 the management committee of the association established a new non-officer role within the committee, the Youth Voice Representative. The intention of this role was to provide an avenue for younger fencers in the community to have an active voice and role in the direction and decisions of the committee.

We are happy to announce that at the 2026 annual general meeting we have appointed our inaugural holder of the position, Willem Harrison-Narraway. Congratulations, Willem!

The committee looks forwards to working with Willem to guide the direction of the association and the sport of fencing in Tasmania moving forward.
